The weather today spoke for itself.
Thare was only one angler fishing the competition today and that was Graeme Henry.
Graeme managed to catch 6 fish, but only one made the weigh in at 1lb 2.9 ozs.
There is one more saturday to establish a winner.

There were three members who took part in the over 50’s competition today.
The weather, a mix of cloud and sunshine, coupled with a strong blustery wind.
Bill Rankin – winner with three fish for 2lb 3ozs
Allan Miller and Keith Mackenzie both caught fish, but returned a nil bag.
The moth competition went ahead last night with only Allan Miller and Bill Rankin turning up, Allan won with three fish for 5lbs 3oz biggest fish 2lbs 7oz and Bill had one fish for 2lbs 1oz. … well done Allan 👏 Allan also mentioned that the water level dropped 2 feet between 6pm and 11pm 🤔
1st comp was not successful for all who attended, only undersized fish were caught, and they were hard to come by. The sunshine was definitely the problem, even though there was a cooling wind.
Bill Rankin caught his first fish of the season, and asks “will this be the largest fish of the season ?” 😉 🎣
The water is up a bit on Loch Tarsan, but still very unsafe with soft mud, the Loch remains closed for the time being until we decide conditions are safe to fish. We will keep members updated !
