Dear Members
It is with very great sadness that I learned that one of our highly valued, long-serving members, Tom Henry, passed away at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Tom was a stalwart member of the Club, having joined in 1972 so was a member for 53 years. In 1978, Tom joined the Executive Committee and became Club Secretary in 1980 under President Charlie Downes. Between 1981 and 1984, he was heavily involved along with Ian McRae in DDAC’s purchase of Loch Loskin and the Club’s journey in acquiring and developing many other waters.
Between 1984 and 1987, he continued as Secretary under President Gordon Small and from 1987 until 1990, he was Club President and he strived to improve the Club
Tom was a true gentleman fisher who liked to sit and have a chat about the different flies he would use and was only too happy to help others when required.

Tom is at peace now – he has “gone fishing”!
Our thoughts at this time are with Graeme and all the family.
Best
Davy
President
