Allan Miller also fished the Reservoir on Friday, he says that despite the harsh weather with heavy rain and added hailstones there are still quality rainbow trout there fort the taking….. so get the thermals on and get up there !
It seems the algae problem has been resolved on the Lake, Allan Miller and Bill Rankin were there on Wednesday. Allan took these two nice fish, with two more being returned, and Bill had three to the net for 10lbs.
Members can fish Dunoon Reservoir for half price (£4) from November through till February, some good quality fish still in there to get caught … so get up there !
A very wet visit to Loch Eck on Tuesday 31st October produced this fine Sea Trout for Bill Rankin who was accompanied by Allan Miller on the last outing of 2017.

Bill Rankin was in good form today, a specimen banana skin taken on the top dropper, he wouldn’t comment if it was returned or taken home for his dinner !

Yet another excellent result from Loch Eck by Bill Rankin who was fishing on Friday and landed this magnificent sea trout which weighed in at 5lb, which was returned to fight another day.
Bill Rankin and Allan Miller had a quality day on Loch Eck yesterday, Bill took five Sea-trout the biggest pictured here at 3.5lbs, and Allan landed a cracking sea trout at 5lb, top fish Allan’s bottom two Bill’s … All fish safely returned to the loch ! … Well done guys.
