The day started as expected, weather wise, casting a rod and line in a wind powerful enough to bend your rod before you even cast, and hiding behind boulders to change your flies.
The catches on Tarsan have been very poor, due to the weather, which has not been great for the angler this year, throughout the UK.
There were only three members fishing today, namely: Graeme Henry, Allan Miller and Bill Rankin.
The winner on the day was Bill Rankin – 1 fish for 3/4 lb,. Allan Miller – 1 fish for 8 ozs, Graeme Henry – 1 fish for 6 ozs.
The overall winner is Allan Miller over the 5 Saturdays , he also holds the position for the biggest fish taken .
