River Ruel boundaries

We have received clarification regarding fishing rights on the short stretch on the East bank downstream from the Otter Ferry Road bridge.
This is not DDAC water and should not be fished by members.
We have everything upstream from this bridge on the West bank as far as the dry stone dyke 3/4 of a mile above shinty pitch bridge and the ministers pool on the East bank. … Thanks, Bob Clark (River Ruel Convener)

  1. Hi Bob. When you next plan a cast on the Ruel and have the time, would be keen to meet up for a tour as must confess not sure on what is fishable/accessible (where permitted) up stream of the shinty pitch bridge and above the section not DDAC. Also any top tips always appreciated! Best Peter
