As you can see the shuttering is in place for the dam and the piping is laid out along the forestry road.

You will notice there is water getting through the shuttering at the moment . Just how much will be getting through once the dam is in place remains to be seen . But I would think they would be bound by law to let enough through to sustain life in the river till the water is returned after the generator.
They have been lucky with the weather as the river is at a very low level at the moment.
The midgies are delighted and are thriving with the introduction of fresh blood to the area, thanks to the workers who are staying in three caravans on site in the area of the generator.
